Interview
Why I should recruit you ?
I think that you should recruit me because I am what you are looking for. Indeed, I am really passionate about my sport and I am very motivated to always give my best at practice. Moreover, I love competing, especially when I am battling for my team.
I do everything needed to succeed, I have a healthy lifestyle and I give myself the time to train. Additionally, I am very serious when it comes to running, I make all necessary sacrifices to achieve the best level.
Why do you want to compete at US Colleges?
When searching about the U.S. competition system, I found out that American people take sports and competition very seriously. In France it is impossible to conciliate between higher studies and high level training.
We have to make a choice. Thus, going to the States is such an opportunity to reconcile these 2 thanks to the way universities are organized. I believe it is my best option to both keep improving in running and to succeed in school.
What do you want to achieve in Track/XC?
In the U.S., I would like to acquire good training methods because here in France, my training is not enough rigorous because and I don’t have a proper coach.
I would like to make big improvements on the track because so far my times don’t match what I have achieved in cross country. I see myself as a good 10k and cross-country runner. I really hope I can help my future team win titles.
College and life goals?
Regarding studies, I wish to follow the same path as in France, kinesiology, health, and psychology of athletes, coaching, etc… What I want also is to become fluent in English.
Regarding the life in the U.S, I wish to dedicate myself to training and get a new experience through sport. I really hope to meet other athletes to learn from them and their personal experiences.
