Interview

Why should I recruit you ?

You should recruit me because I am a complete athlete able to run fast, for a long while. When something interests me, I can do it at 100%! And when I am 100% invested into something, I am competent and nothing can stop me. I am a fighter. That is a quality that you are looking for because I want to beat opponents, but I specially want to surpass me whether it be in competition, in training or in life. Moreover, I run and work for myself, but I run and work for a group too. See my school/work group or my training group achieving beautiful things is really gratifying for me.

Why do you want to compete at US Colleges?

I want to compete in the U.S. to have a chance to improve my ability to run competitions with bigger density to become stronger and to beat my own personal bests. For me that can be a chance to compete in the U.S. with a university because all people I know who have had the chance to go to some U.S. university have increased their skills in Track and Field and I want to do the same thing. Also, the condition and system of competition in the U.S. college is incredible.

What do you want to achieve in Track/XC?

In Track I want to beat my record to gain a ticket for big competitions to run with a high density of top athletes. And in XC I want to improve my capacity to achieve strong runs in a competitive team to run big XC with high density, like track. And I want to be faster than ever, to represent my team at the highest level.

College and life goals?

I have a lot of goals. First, I want to be graduated in a recognized university to have a valued master’s degree and have a good job afterward in my area of expertise. Secondly, I want to increase my athletic performances and become stronger in Track and in XC to be an athlete with huge capacity. For that I want to beat my personal best and beat my opponents. Thirdly, I want to: learn more about myself and the American life and the American training way, open my mind by discovering the culture and lifestyle of another country, try a lot of new things…

Anything to add?

For me playing sport is a good thing in life but cannot last forever and that is why I want to take my chance to go to the U.S.A. for practicing Track and Field at a high level while studying and completing my education. For me this is important to take all opportunity to change the way I think and see things. That is why I am so determined to achieve my goals and my future goal is the American Dream.
